As with most of Garnier’s maps, the detail of this offering is most impressive. Taken from the Spherodidal & Universel de geographie, edited by Jules Renouard of Paris. The cartouche is typical of Garnier located in the upper left corner. There is excellent detail of Russia and Siberia (including the tip of Alaska and Japan). In original color, the map measures approximately (13.8″ x 19.3″). The condition is rated Very Good for this steel engraving. With Certificate of Authenticity.
